Unfortunately, many security firms utilize practices that are unlawful, presenting a potential danger to their client's intrests, thereby increasing the risk to public safety, property and exposure to costly litigation. TRS takes the job of protecting individuals and property seriously. We pride ourselves on suppling our clients with the most professional and highly trained officers in the indusrty, as well as meeting, or exceeding, all state laws related to security providers.

TRS believes the following questions should be asked of all potential security providers:

Question #1
Does your security firm have a private detective's license?

Pennsylvania State Law requires all companies engaged in providing security officers must obtain a private detectives license in compliance with the Private Detective Act of 1953. Many security providers forego this most basic and critical componet of providing security services due to the strict requirements in obtaining such a license.

Question #2
Is your security firm properly insured?

Many firms carry minimum coverage if any at all in an attempt to squeeze out as much profit as possible, however, as many lawsuits exceed these minimums, the client is left to make up the differnce

TRS carries $1,000,000 in Liability, $2,000,000 Aggregate insuring protection for our clients and their buisness intrests.

Question #3
Does your security firm utilize O/C Pepper Spray protocals?

Many firms consider O/C Pepper Spray an outstanding threat neutralizer however, when used improperly it has the potential to compound threat levels due to the inherent risks of deployment in enclosed areas. Lessons learned from events such as the E2 Nightclub stampede have shown that O/C Pepper Spray causes panic in  enclosed areas, innocent bystanders are at a high risk of exposure and operations may cease for extended periods of time for location contamination.

All TRS Officers are trained and certified through the State of Pennsylvania for all Leathal and Non-Leathal weapons carried.
